Quran: Memorize, Learn & Audio

The app is free, has no ads, and needs no account. We built it so that what you read, save and pray stays between you and your Lord.

What we collect: nothing

The app has no servers of its own, no analytics and no tracking. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. The one time anything you say leaves your phone is when you choose to send a reflection (see "Reflections" below).

What stays on your device

• Your name (if you give it), reading progress, bookmarks, streak, settings, saved reflections and the stories you have finished are saved only on your phone.
• Location. If you allow it, your location is used on your device to work out prayer times and the Qibla direction. It is rounded to about 1 km and is never sent to us or anyone else (your iPhone's own location service may look up the name of your city).
• Notifications. Prayer reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. No push service is used.

Network requests

• Recitation audio is streamed from the Islamic Network CDN (cdn.islamic.network) when you press play. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address to that service; the app sends nothing else.
• The Quran text, translations and stories are bundled in the app and work offline.

Reflections (optional, voice or text)

The reflection feature turns what is weighing on you into a map of your thoughts, with ayat that speak to it. It only runs when you choose to use it, and it asks for your consent the first time.

• What is sent, and to whom. When you tap to send, your voice clip (up to 60 seconds) or the text you typed is sent once, over an encrypted connection, to Google's Gemini AI model through OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), which passes it to Google to be understood. A follow-up question you ask about a map is sent the same way, together with that map's text. Nothing is sent until you tap send, and nothing is sent in the background.
• Not stored by us. We have no servers and keep no copy. The recording is deleted from your phone as soon as it has been read for sending. We don't use what you share to identify you, for advertising, or for anything else. OpenRouter and Google process it to return your map under their own terms and privacy policies.
• The microphone is used only while you are recording, after you tap the mic. You can always type instead.
• Your maps stay on your phone. Each map (its text, not the audio) is saved only on your device, and you can delete any of them from "Your reflections". Deleting the app deletes them all.
• Safety. If what you type suggests you may be in danger, the app does not send it anywhere and shows helplines instead. Helpline numbers come from the app itself, chosen by your phone's region setting, which never leaves your phone.
• The words in a map are written by AI as a gentle reflection. They are not tafsir, a fatwa or professional advice. The ayat are always shown from the app's own bundled Quran text.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.
